French Senior Audit hire within this investment banking and global markets group. Our client have a growing presence within Paris and are looking to build out their European audit team throughout the next 12 months.
This will offer the successful candidate the chance to be involved across a variety of prudential capital, risk, funding and treasury audits, working closely with commercial stakeholders in France, Germany and Ireland from the outset.
Responsibilities
- Planning and assessing audit scope, utilising risk and control identification as well as testing
- Identifying efficient testing opportunities through use of data analytics
- Completing audit fieldwork by testing design and operating effectiveness of key controls and documentation
- Updating the European Head of Audit with observations and recommendations
- Writing high quality work papers to help contribute to the regional audit report
- Completing testing of audit issues confirmed as closed by the business
Skills Required
- Recognised Accounting or Auditing Qualification
- A minimum of 5 years audit experience within the Banking and Global Markets or consultancy sectors
- Previous experience of conducting functions audits concerning risk management, prudential capital, treasury and finance frameworks and controls is preferable.
- Use of Data Analytics software such as Power BI, Tableau and Excel is an advantage
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English
