Director of Internal Audit

Global investment banking and finance markets business with strong growth in Paris. This role will cover functional audits for the group in Europe, specifically risk management, prudential capital, finance and treasury frameworks and controls. You will manage a local audit team in France with a mandate to hire several additional staff over the next 12 months.

This role will report into the Head of Audit for France and have wider involvement on Europe wide audits including commercial and governance activity in Italy, Spain, Ireland and Germany.

You will present to board level at the European Head Office on the development and delivery of the audit plan for France.

Skills Required

• A minim of 10 years Internal Audit, inspection Générale or internal Controls experience within a Global Investment Banking and Markets business
• Certified audit qualification – CIA or equivalent is an advantage
• Previous staff management experience is essential. Mid-large teams ideally 5-20 employees at a local level
• Business proficiency in French and English
